NETg and Oracle
actively co-develop training products to prepare for Oracle Certified
Professional exams. Because Oracle Education maintains full-time development
staff specifically dedicated to Skill Builder development, clients are assured
of the most current, most comprehensive coverage on Oracle technologies directly
from the source. A complete curriculum is available for both Database
Administrators and Application Developers. These courses are the ONLY products
certified by Oracle as approved training to prepare candidates for the Oracle
Certified Professional program.
To become an Oracle
Certified Professional (OCP), you'll need to pass a series of Oracle
certification exams. You will not receive the OCP status until you pass all the
exams that map to a specific track. Follow these steps to help you prepare for
an exam.
3. Get an exam
preparation guide.
When you choose the exam you want to take, get the corresponding exam
preparation guide to find the skills being measured by the exam. You will find
detailed information on each of the exam tracks on the
Oracle Education Website.
4. Choose the
training you need.
NETg has an exclusive development relationship with Oracle to co-develop and
distribute Oracle TBT for the DBA and Application Developer certifications.
Courseware is developed with a 100% correlation between content and test
questions.
5. Apply your skills
in a real-world environment.
Use and know the Oracle product you are learning. Candidates are expected to
have six months hands-on experience.
6. Take a practice
test.
A practice test gives you the opportunity to answer computer-administered
questions that are similar to those on the certification exam. (Your score on
a practice test doesn't necessarily indicate what your score will be on a
certification exam.) You can download practice tests for most certification
exams on the Oracle Education Website,
http://oracle.com/education/certification_cms/index.html?sts.html
7. Register for an
exam.
Prometric Thomson Learning administers all Oracle Certified Professional exams.

to register for an exam online, visit Prometric's 2Test Website at
www.2test.com/index.jsp
8. Take the exam.
Be sure to bring one photo ID and one other ID to the testing center.
